Sometimes It Gets Heavy
This is a hand crafted sculpture that portrays a person quite literally carrying the weight of the world on their back whilst climbing a flight of stairs that does not have an apparent end point. The lack of a destination was intentional so that it could be subjective to the viewer. The bandaids on the world represent all the hurt and suffering going on in the world, today, and throughout history.
Materials:
Air Dry Clay
